We’ve been screwed!
I asked too many questions. I am a demanding person, a perfectionist. I align myself with the very best. Genuine, trustworthy folks. I enjoy being on the forefront of new technologies and opportunities. I’m supportive of startups and invest my energy, time and money toward the success of those I feel have potential. Sometimes that fails. I guess I asked too many questions.
November 2015 I chose to partner with an organization that I thought would be beneficial to the members of our organization, Creative Musicians Coalition (CMC), and other musicians. Unfortunately, that was a bad decision.
I won’t be specific. It servers no purpose. The only thing I’d like to say about this is that some people just are not trustworthy. I’ll be kind and move on.
After three years, two days after opening this project, the organization claimed that we were not a real business and they have blackballed us from their services. I thought it was a joke, considering we’ve been in business for over 47 years. No questions asked, no communications, no chances to respond, no nothing. They resorted to threatening me with harassment. I guess I asked too many questions.
From my long experience in business, I’ve found that when people react in such a negative fashion, it’s usually because they have something to hide. I have no idea what their problem is. I guess, I just asked too many questions.
I think they’ve got a good thing, but unfortunately, they are not very nice people. For us, we won’t waste any more time. We’re reverting back to our original concept of a musicians’ support portal. We offer musician products, digital services for vendors that would like to tie in with us, and support relationships with musician organizations and venues.
We are now growing a new store, that will open first, and preparing to open our CMC 2.0 shortly thereafter. Details to follow soon.
